Fresh Flowers

Nothing says spring better than fresh, colorful flowers. Whether you grab a bouquet from the market or simply cut some stems from your yard, fresh flowers are always a good idea and a great way to inject spring into your home décor.

I am especially loving the pop of pink these azaleas add to the room. Of course, here in Atlanta, spring also means allergies are in full swing, so I always have tissues on hand. These new Scotties boxes fit right in with my spring decor.

Pops of Color

Another great way to infuse spring into your home is to add some bright colors to your décor. A simple way to incorporate color is with throw pillows on the sofa or bright and cheerful napkins in the dining room.

While pastels are the traditional go-to spring colors, try a fresh twist this spring with colors such as Kelly green paired with navy and bright pink.

Another great way to spruce up your home for spring is to take a fresh look at your bookshelves. Now is a great time to remove your darker items and replace them with lighter ones – such as colorful bottles or white plates. You can also try color-coordinating your books to add even more dimension to your shelves.

Moss

Moss looks great year-round, but it is especially fitting for spring! An easy way to add a little moss is with vases. This little detail gives a nod to spring and a dose of freshness with zero maintenance required. If you haven't had luck keeping houseplants alive, moss is a great way to add some greenery.

Refresh the Powder Room

With the warmer temperatures, it’s time for some spring entertaining! Be sure to refresh your powder room with fresh towels and floral or citrus-scented soaps and candles.

Refresh the Front Door

It's time to say goodbye to the winter boots and empty planters...and hello to fresh spring accessories! Try adding moss wreath with a colorful ribbon or planters on either side of the door. Plus, a new welcome mat can go a long way to help bring the whole look together.

I think I’m ready for spring – now it’s your turn!
